Contact Greenway Medical Certifications
After you’ve checked the qualifying conditions, you’ll contact Greenway to setup an initial consultation. Before your first appointment, you will get assistance from our staff as you go through the certification process. Our knowledgeable team will make sure you understand the requirements and assist you in collecting the required paperwork. We work directly with you to deliver a quick and easy experience to getting your medical marijuana card in Mississippi.

The First Consultation with Dr. Hontzas
During your initial consultation at our clinic, you will meet with Dr. John Hontzas, a licensed medical cannabis practitioner. This in-person session is a mandatory requirement set by the Mississippi State Department of Health as part of the certification process.
Dr. Hontzas will review your medical background, discuss your qualifying condition(s), and provide valuable insights into the potential benefits of medical marijuana tailored to your specific situation.
Please note that the cost for this comprehensive evaluation is $200, with a required $100 refundable deposit before your appointment is confirmed. A No-Show fee of $50 is applied to any patients that do not show up for their appointment.

Help with the Application
After your initial consultation or follow up appointment, we work with you to complete the final steps of the medical marijuana certification process. If you have any questions along the way, we are just a phone call away! Once you need renewal, feel free to contact us and we will help you walk through the renewal process.

Annual Telemedicine Follow-Up Appointments
We give follow-up appointments through telemedicine to offer convenience and ongoing care. With these sessions, you can consult Dr. Hontzas virtually from the comfort of your home. The cost of the telemedicine follow-up appointment is $200 per session, which takes place annually when your medical card renewal is needed.
You will not have to go through the medical marijuana certification process in its entirety again, but a follow up appointment is necessary for your card renewal.
